Family time

Saturday started out stormy, but ended up beautiful. Brandon came over for the day since Alex was out of town. First, Lauren & Brandon played Wii Fit ... Brandon has no cordination! But, he can beat EVERYONE in baseball. After they played the Wii for a while, they went down and swam in the pool. The water was pretty nice. Finally, we finished off the day with a Naturals game. They lost the game, but we had a great time.

Sunday was a great time too. Mom & Dad, Jennifer & Murphy came over as well as Brandon for dinner. Good food & fun was on the menu. We ate, played the Wii, and laughed really hard at the attempts to play some of the games. It is just as much fun to watch someone play the Wii as it is to actually play. Hope everyone had a great Memorial Day weekend like us. Also....4 more days of school !!!!! :-)

GT Economics Fair

On Friday, I had the opportunity to go with Lauren on her GT field trip. I was the chaperone for the Drama Island group. Hunter, Korey, Ally, Ashyton, & Lauren were all wonderful. They did a skit & Lauren was the Diva Consumer (what a shock!). Then they had do design a t-shirt & finally creat a poduct out of things out of a bag. It was fun to see all the kids & Lauren told me she was "pleased" with me. I guess I was a cool mom that day.

Also, the quiz bowl they won 35 to 15. All 4 areas will be added up to find out who won the overall competition. I think they were all winners in my book. :-)
