Disney Vacation

What a great vacation. We flew out Saturday the 17th and stayed in Florida til the 24th. The weather was sunny and 80 most every day. Mom and Dad met us down there and we all had a blast. We rode roller coasters, went down Towers of Terror, & ate some wonderful food. Thanksgiving was a bit weird, we were in Animal Kingdom and had Asian food at the Yak & Yetti restaurant. We also ate a Wolf Gang Puck's cafe one night before the saw Cirque de Soliel. Here are a few shots of our vacation. Lauren did a make over at Cinderella's castle at the Bibbity Bobbity Boutique...It was so cute. Her other favorite things was the Aerosmith Rockin' Roller Coaster...I have to say...It was a great one. Disney really knows how to make a vacation special. We went to all 4 parks, Lauren swam, and we went shopping. We loved MGM. Some of the coolest things to do are the 3D shows/attractions (It's tough being a Bug was Dad's favorite) and the simulators (Star Wars is great!). The whole time we were there everyone called Lauren...Princess Lauren. She told us we should call her that after we come home. haha...welcome to reality. We had lunch with Princesses & dinner with other characters. I took over 400 pictures on this trip. I encourage everyone to go and have a magical time!!! :-)

Walker Birthday

Today was Walker Elementary's Birthday. After the basketball game today, the school had games, blow up things to bounce in, face painting, & cupcakes. Lauren and her friends had a lot of fun. Here this is my wildcat. Also, this is Lauren's friend Molly whom she does gymnastics with and has played softball with. They have a lot of fun together.

Season Opener

Well, we had our first basketball game this week. It is quite fun to watch a group of 3rd & 4th graders run up and down the court. Some of these girls are very aggressive in getting the ball. Lauren is a head taller than most, but the aggressiveness...we lack. She is doing very well. In today's game (Saturday), she made her first basket. WOW...what a smile she had on her face. Lauren is #2 if you can't tell. We are the Lady Vols!!

Busy as a Bee weekend

Lauren had a BIG weekend last week. We drove her to Russellville with her cousin Katie and met her Papa Gale & Dianne as well as Olivia. What a weekend they had. We met at a restaurant that had a real train whistle outside...of course they all had to blow it and WOW...was it loud. Saturday they had a stamping party, went to Target (Lauren bought shoes...what a shock), saw the Bee Movie, ate at the Purple Cow, got a book at Barnes & Noble, and finally crashed at home that night. When we got her Sunday, she was exhausted, but smiling and excited about the weekend. She will never forget this weekend.
